A 350 with lock out? what is that?Check the flex plate to the converter and see if the bolt pattern is the same.if it matches the crank on the engine and the bolt pattern on the converter it should work.I would just buy a new flex plate as they are cheap and you don't want any starter issues.early small blocks have 2 sizes as I remember it is a 158 tooth and a 162 tooth.I have run into this problem before the smaller one wont work with your starter on the 350

Thanks for response. With respect to the lock-out. I meant that the Turbo 350 auto tranny has a converter lockout. I'll check the number of teeth and make sure it meshes with the starter correctly. I'm concerned about the axial offset of the flex plate where the newer flex plates have an offset where the converter mounts.
