Flex Plate Help

How do I insure that I don't get the Flex plate on backward? It is bolting up to a Cheve 327 engine. The back end is a 350 Turbo.

Can You Post a picture of it?

I do believe that there is a flange looking thing @ where the center hole is goes out towards the trans.

{sorry trying to remember but I have a C R S blocker }

I will try to post a picture of the Flex plate. In the mean time here is a picture of the beast the flex plate goes into.

Hey, a fellow bucket-head! On your flexplate there should be three or six raised pads where the the converter bolts on. The raised side should face away from the motor and towards the tranny.

Nice rides.
Check for a small dimple in the flex plate between crank bolt holes.
The nipple should rise towards the tranny.
