Flex plate/Torque converter

I purchased a new torque converter and a flex plate from a reputable manufacturer. When checking the alignment of the holes, I found that the converter would not fit the flex plate. I returned it to the mfg. and they checked it out. Seemed that the studs on the converter were not welded on in the proper locations. After checking the rest of them in stock they found that they were all wrong. They are reworking it and will deliver it today. My suggestion; Check them out before putting them in the car and trying to fight the parts together.
