Flexplate is a flexplate?

OK guys, I have a '98 350 Chevy (vortec) without a flexplate. I plan to mate this bad boy to a TH350. What kind of flexplate do I use? Are all flexplates for 350 Chevy's created equal? All help is greatly appreciated.

no they are not the same.

you need a flexplate for your year engine.

Bolt pattern , center hole is different from early 350 engines,

it has a weight on it for your engine.
