Flip top hingesenders

Gentlemen: I'm building a '74 Vega for the drags, I bolted and welded the hood, both fenders, and the front together, My question is does anyone have an idea about making hinges to make flip top to come forward? Thank You

roll then tilt

The neat one I saw had round tube each side running foreward, the hinge mechanism was mounted on the roller mechanism. The front end moved foreward so it would clear everything then tilted. and was operated by an air cylinder.

I did a search right here on good ole HR.com. This ought to help some:

Front end/fender tilt kit for 39 for doupe

Good luck. Powerrodsmike has done a nice one on the 41 Plymouth, the car won a bunch of show awards. I saw the car in Kingsburg, Ca. and Mikes shop, nice work.
