Flooding after a long drive

Useful info about 4150holley float bowl adjustment, The primaries float must be contaminated after a 10mile drive to home the 302ci stalled but the fuel jets were still dripping down the carb.

I`ve had them do so in less than 1 mile. You have one of four problems.
1. Fuel pressure too high, Some Holley`s can handle 9 psi so I`m told. Everyone I ever used couldn`t handle anything past 6.
2. Float level too high
3. Trash in the needle and seat assembly, which is very easy to do if the tank has excessive trash in it.
4. Base timing so low the idle is set so far open it`s pulling off the boosters instead of the idle circuit.
