Floor mounted Master cylinder

Working on a 54 Ford P/u. Looking to replace the floor mounted Master cylinder. Disc brakes in front, Drum in rear.

I know what's in the stores, but I like to do more with home-grown engineering, stock parts swapping, etc. As allways dollars and money tops my list. Do you have any suggestions

I've used the Ford and GM master cylinders form parts stores with some success, but the corvette copy master cylinder sold by most hot rod places ends up costing almost the same and it has the benefit of having ports on both sides of the M/C to make routing brake lines easier. JMO, but that's what I have fianlly settled on.
