I like the 40 series, it has a very nice tone. I do have one suggestion about running your pipes. Around here in Sacramento, everyone and thier mom runs thier pipes all the way out the back on thier trucks. I would run the up high so you can't see the piping, then use crome tips to come out just a hair under the bumper. I think it looks real clean and gives it a nice custom effect. Just my .02

Well if you have single inlet and dual outlets (you have a camaro)??? Then you need a crossflow muffler (i think) i put the 80 series on my camaro and it has a nice rumble and is pretty loud when i go WOT, not to loud though.

from what you are looking for in sound, the 40 series will prolly be good. nice sound at cruising speed but not at all obnoxious. if it is a little quiet for your taste, just put on the bigger tips. I was amazed at the difference the size of the tip makes! One thing is for sure, nothing compares to the sound of a Flowmaster setup...

So the 40 series or are you saying the delta flow 40 series. What about the force2? I looked at flowmasters' website and I am considering the folling three mufflers the delta flow 40 series, the force2, and the 40 series.
What's a crossflow muffler? I have a stock single in dual out right now. For the setup i want what's the prices. New muffler, pipes w/chrome tips? PS I have a Chevy Silverado. |
