Flowmaster American Thunder

What do you guys think about the American Thunder kit for 64-72 GM A body's from flowmaster? I am not too worried about the "restriction" from flowmaster just wondering about how it will sound and quality. I have a 71 chevelle with a modified 350. THanks in advance

i almost bought it...... but didn't. instead i got the 2 chamber flowmaster 40's(not the delta flow). I like sound and i really don't care about power beacuse i feel i already have enough. I beleive the american thunder kit comes with delta flow mufflers... they make noise but not as much as the original 40's. If you are looking for peformance talk to a muffler shop and they will direct you to the better flowing mufflers. Last i heard was that the magnaflow's flowed the best. I just wanted to give you my 2 cents....

So you think it will be quiet? It says it comes with 2 chamber mufflers. Is this kit a bolt up or weld up also?

i haven't looked at it in a while. I thought before they came with 3 chambers. If they are 2 chambers it should sound pretty good. And i beleive it is a bolt up then drive to the muffler shi=ops to have it welded. Use clamps. Or take the kit to a muffler shop anfd have them do it....
