Fluid capacity Ford c6 Auto Transmission

Have put 11 Qts. in and have been told the old c6 's hold 13 qts. Anybody that knows out there would appreciate a reply. When I put the 11 qts. in the tranny, torgue converter, cooler lines and radiator were dry. Do I have to add more and how do I avoid overfilling. Thanks .........Bill

that is what the dip stick is used for..... to check the level in the trans.

Do you have a dipstick & tube ?

Do you have an after market dipstick ?

As I see this , you have a dip stick and tube made for the C-6.

You have a shop manual that states around 13 qts is needed..

So , was it a test to see if the answer was available here or a double check?
