Flywheel Education

Building a 454HO Gen VI.
Starting at the bottom and moving up to the top.
Looking for around 700 HP and need some flywheel advice
for an automatic trans. What should I do and why?
Thanks!

Automatic transmissions use a flexplate. Flywheels are for standard transmissions.

You will want an externally balanced flexplate w/SFI certification, and made for a 1-piece rear main seal crankshaft- unless you go w/an internally balanced rotator.
