which flywheel for a nv4500

hi everyone. ive got a 1997 silveraldo that had a 4l60e but im putting a nv4500, out of a 1993 one ton, in to it. Iive also got the flywheel, bell, pp, and clutch disk from a 2001 nv4500, which uses the internal slave. I couldn't use the 93 fw cuz it was for a 454 and my truck has a 5.7. my question is- the 2001 fw says metric on it. does that mean anything? I think it will bolt up but what about balance? if I wanted to use the external slave like the 93 used, I could use a regular 0ne piece rear seal fw and regular clutch, correct? thanks

I knew about the auto trans fixes, but not the manual trans fixes. Thanks for posting.

So what are you going to do? Are you going to use the GEN 3 flywheel?

peace

I don't guess the metric flywheel will fit the crank so I guess ill have to get myself a fw for 1986-98 truck and use the bell that takes the external slave. the clutch master cylinder that goes to that kind of slave, im hoping bolts in the same way as the master for the internal type. that way I can use the factory holes.

FYI: You must use the correct lubricant in the 4500 or failure is inevitable.
