FMX blewup what to do now

I blew the fmx up while driving like a madman this weekend my choices are get the fmx rebuilt my dads got a recon c4 i can buy cheap or i know where theres a c6 i like driving hard and laying lots of skids what would you recomend?

C6 or c4 both good tranys what ever the same length.

do you think the single rail 4 speed will handle the 351 i know its had a new twin plate clutch put in it and will a top loader bolt up to its bell housing??

Isn't that single-rail unit just a 3-speed with overdrive?

I'd re-do the FMX and install a shift kit at the same time. I've run several of those behind 351C engines and never had one fail, they are plenty strong, just a tad weighty.

As Wood'z said. If you have the option$, I'd stay with the FMX and have it rebuilt. If you have someone in your area that knows how to do them, it would be easier, as you already have everything already set-up for it. Unless you have all of the linkages and mounting stuff for one of the others that will fit right in, it will definately be alot faster to do, and you would know what you got.
