Ive used this stuff with good results. I found it better to work from the center and work your way out pressing and smoothing everything on to the foam. Brad |

I get my supplies form the same place WakBordr7387 recommends. Great service, great product, great price. Here is my most recent project using the foam. Goes on for a few pages.

Forgot to mention I,m going to be a bit wary of ordering foam from your side of the border. Bought a shaved door kit on Ebay recently. Got home tonight and there was a sticker on the door from UPS saying they had my parcel bought would have to cough up another $64.00 for brokerage fees. This on a $120.00 item!

I've told this story a few times on this board but bears repeating. I made a model wooden train for a dear professor friend in Canada and sent it to him UPS. As you can see, it has a little work in it so I insured it @ UPS for $1500. It was returned as rejected by addressee. I asked him what happened and he was not home and his wife didn't know me from Adam didn't want to pay the $250 import tax. I was embarrassed but didn't know how cheap the Canadian govn't was, charging that much of an import tarrif on a FREE GIFT!!!!!!!!! He hand carried it home for free the next time he came to Bakersfield.

I found a source for the foam for the door panels in Vancouver. Only trouble is they only sell it in 600 ft. rolls. I finally found a real source for the right foam at an upholstery shop in another city. The guy on the phone said he'd never heard of Volara, but in the conversation it came out that he calls it Landau foam. It's about 100 K (80 miles to you US guys) but that's where my company I work for is and I get down there often. The place is right behind our warehouse! Didn't even ask the guy the price. I hate buying on the internet, it's damn risky cost wise and quality wise. I like to see and feel the stuff I'm buying. I'll see if I can get the glue to.

Be sure to get 3M 90 not 3M 77! You can get that at any big home center.
