folding corners

Im trying to see how to fold the corners on a square piece of hardboard without having wrinkles. Im using vinyl. Any help would be nice,photo,drawing,anything. Thanks you all.

There are a couple ways to do it. The best and neatest way is to cut a square out of all 4 corners and sew them shut. Another way is as shown in the picture. This looks a lot better with padding on the board so the corner does not look so lumpy. Check out the pics. The 4th pic shows the vinyl pulled back along the long side of the board. The 5th pic shows the vinyl I cut out of the way to let it fold easier.
