Ford 2.3 turbo cam advance?

I found this in the lounge:

Quote:
my dad and i are working on a 1985 Chrysler Le Baron convertible. while my dad was researching he found how to give the engine more power. one thing is to turn the camshaft one tooth to give it more power and more gas mileage.
My question is, Would this work on a 1988 Ford 2.3 turbo Thunderbird?

I searched for "2.3 turbo cam advance" and got 0 hits.

Thanks

You might try going to this page
Turbo Ford, 2.3 Ford Timing Belt Change
It has some interesting information about the Ford Motorsport pulley That has slots all the way around the inside of the pulley instead of just one. These are machined so that the keyway (or slot) you choose to match with the key (or post) on the cam chooses your cam timing.

This page Racer Walsh is selling some aftermarket adjustable pulleys along with some other 2.3 stuff.
I hope this helps.

I read on one of the ford turbo sites that the Ranger cam is the hot set up. Here is some of the sites related to ford turbo. I like the N.A.T.O. and turboford.org with the info I had found earlier.
