Well first off !!!! I would never put a ford in a Chevy, Bad luck..LOL If you really want too, set the motor in as far back as you can, Leave some room behind the head to fire wall.. Set The carb level. And make some new motor mounts, and a new trans cross-member..Where are you in La ???

But it's OK to put a Chevy in a Ford? Please,Please put that 302 in Her,if you were closer I'd help! You can get the mounts you need from www.speedwaymotors.com ,you may need a universal transmission crossmember also.

Now thats funny.. As long as I have been into cars, I have seen more fords sell with Chevy motor in them then Chevy's with ford motors.. Now I didn't invent this..

I have also seen where a ford was kicking some butt at the track on Chevy vs ford.. And all the ford people was having a good time,, Until my buddy told them it had a Chevy motor in that ford.. ,,and the car wasn't for us.. This poster can do what he wants, And we will all help him.. But the fact is,, There is a lot less out there that want a Chevy with a ford motor,, Just something to think about.. Have a good day Sir,,

And if I had a running sbc,I would give it to you, and also help you..
