I would prefer the 5.8L over the 302 as HP and torque will be easy to get to move the thing. Maybe find a later F4TE block asm (roller) and go through it. Sufficient head assemblies are available used (E7TE-GT 40) as rodders discard them for aluminum pieces. FI and you have a torque monster.
