Ford 302 HO Distributor ???

My 1988 302 HO is being converted from EFI to Carb. can i use the existing Dist.? I was told that a dist from a 85 stang will work good, is the 85 a duraspark set up? I can't afford a fancy MDI or expensive unit, I just don't feel the existing EFI dist will do it. I'm aware of the roller cam and gear, don't even think of suggesting sticking to EFI... i think all that clutter ship is a PITA....

You can use any Duraspark distributor, just change the gear to what your cam will work with...
