Ford 5.4 swap

Is there an aftermarket harness option for a Ford 5.4 swap into a rock crawler project?

Doc here,

What platform for a rock crawler?

And 5.4 ...I'm not a Ford guy..What is that? I know GM 5.7 is 350..and 5.0 is 305...

just what do you need to run? you might be able to build it yourself if the wire count is low using a replacement fuse block..

Doc

You're talking about the modular 5.4L out of the newer Ford pickups, yes?

If that's the case, then the guys over at http://www.modularfords.com/ can help you out. There are a few that put the 4.6/5.4 engines into older machines.

I believe you will 'just' need the factory harness and PCM. I am unaware of any aftermarket wiring harnesses for the mod motors at this time. It's a lot of work, but the results would be great.
