I'm building a stroker moter for my 57 chevy and I was thinking about putting a ford 9" rear end in it. It has the orig. rear end in it now and I don't know if it will hold up.
My questions are:
(1) Do you think the orig. rear end will hold up with the added torque and all?
(2) Should I put in a 9" or look for a 12 bolt?
(3) Are eather of these the right width for my car?
(4) I heard somewhere that you could get the gear ratio by turning the wheels and counting the revolutions of the tire and the drive shaft and deviding by something, Can you do it this way and what do you devide by?
Thanks! Rodrunner
