Ford 9" Bolt Pattern

Can I change the 5" on 5" to 5" on 4.5" ?

I used to do these back in the day. You have to weld a filler into one of the bolt access holes. Use machinable weld. Then you can change bolt pattern in a Bridgeport with an indexing fixture or drilling jig and correct drill bit for whatever stud you plan on using.
