ford 9 bolt rear end crush sleeve install

Anyone familiar w/ putting a crush sleeve in behind the yoke on this rear end?
Ive got a lincoln versailles 77 rear end. I replaced the circular yoke with a standard one and was very careful when ratcheting back on the nut...BUT its leaking now likes theres no tomorrow.
I imagine if I drain the rear end, take off the nut holding the yoke, the leaking sleeve / washer is in there and its crushed to far.
The replacement came in two pieces??? is there one behind the yoke on the outside and one on the inside, or do they both slide in behind the yoke. WAs hoping to not take all the nuts out of the front of the rear end to replace the one that might go in there.

The spacer goes between the two bearings, there is only a very thin .030" washer between the yoke and the front bearing to act as an oil shield.
