ford 9 inch questions/ID

OK I got this rear end from a 81 f100 at the just yard
on the center section/case it has a round tag that looks like a clock face with the numbers 13576 on it, in clockwise order.
there is a tag that reads 0F2
there is also a large 69 on it and a symbol that looks like 2 c's with an M shape over the top like this M
(c
the ID tag had been snipped off but what was still there showed that it started with a 2 (prolly no help)
on the pinion/yoke support there were several diff. numbers. 2 in sets and 1 single
1). D2SW-G
2). 2649
3). 4
anybody know if this is origonal for this truck or did someone put it in??? Any info would be appreciated???

Count the teeth.
Divide the big number by the little number.

Ratio???

I know about the ratio and how to find it and what it is...... 2.75.... If my thread hadn't got hijacked by cyber brat with all his mumbo jumbo, mabey you would have caught it when I said it was a 280.... I mis counted... there were only 44 teeth on the ring not 45....

Any way does ayone know any info on how ford does thier casting #'s mainly for date and what it ORIGONALLY came from. the length flange to flange from the outside edges is 60 3/8's" leaf pad to pad is 47" apart and shock mounting bracket is 35.5" apart. All measurements were taken from outside edge to outside edge.....

Thread did kinda get jacked there. See if post #2 by Techinspector1 about Ford's numeric system can help with the rear ID #'s. Hope this will help you out D.
