Ford 9" questions

I have an early bronco narrow 9" that i plan on using under my el camino now it came complete drums/axles etc... now the centersection has 3.50 gears and 28 spline axles. I scored a rebuilt 4.11 richmond geared centersection for $150 but it requires 31 spline axles.

Now what i want to do is use the 4.11's but i need 31 spline axles to fit that housing, now companys like currie/dutcman offer packages that list 31 spine axles for my rear end. What im wondering about is the bearings

for $400 you get the axles, bearings, studs and retainers. Our these bearings going to fit my rear end or was there 31 spline rear ends that im not aware of ?

You will need to order the correct axles ........with the correct axle bearings.......the early Broncos came with either the small or the large axle bearings.

They can make the axles to fit the axle bearing you have in your housing.

By the Way.......most of the Broncos I ahve seen, had the small bearing.

You should have either the small Ford or the Big Ford .....not the Big Ford ( new style )

The small Ford bearing on the Broco usually has the 10 inch brake drum and the Big Ford bearing usually has the 11 inch brake drum.

The small bearing has 3/8 bolts holding the backing plate and the Big Ford has 1/2 bolts holding the backing plate on.
