The mid '70's Lincolns with discs were the Versailles. While it can be a good choice, finding one with all of the parts plus in good shape is getting tough as Ford has discontinued replacement pieces.
As an idea, Speedway offers a weld on bracket/kit http://www.speedwaymotors.com/ProductSummary.aspx?free_text|10/31/2010%203:35:36%20PM=9%22+disc+brakes&deptId=0 and; http://www.speedwaymotors.com/US-Bra...Kit,26350.html I know you said you don't want a kit, but sometimes ya just gotta see what's out there and often, you'll find it ends up cheaper Dave W |
