Ford 9" vs Dana vs Chevy 12 bolt

Ive got a 383 4 bolt main 71 lt1 heads with a fully built th350 in an 91 s10. blew the stock rear end any suggestions.

I would use the 9", lighter, very strong, you can get parts for it anywhere but best of all it has a 3rd member....aka pumpkin, chunk etc. that you can pull out and change gears ratios in an hour or so...if you're good. Cain't do'er with the other two.

not as good as a 9 but a verry easy cheap swap is the explorer 8.8 97-2000
lsd and available 343-410 ratios.

31 spline and strong as a ox

Use the 8.8 Exploder. 60'' wide. Disc brakes are standard on later models. Get some C clip eliminators and call it good.
