do any of the 70s model lincolns come with a posi unit?
Is it a 9 inch Ford ?????
If you want help you have to give us a little help here.
If it is a 57-58-59 Ford 9 inch, then most every 60s Fairlane 8 or 9 inch or 70s Granada 8 (eight) inch axles drop right in.
Nobody measures rear axles by the housing length, the correct measurement is wheel flange to wheel flange, and the Fords listed are all 57 1/2.
There were a few cars built with BIG bearings or even HD axles. Check the backing plate flanges for dimensions between bolts for i.d.
9 inch posi units were optional on all Ford products.
