what do you mean the trans takes a dump? the trans quits working afterwards? the trans leaks a lot of fluid when you shut the car off? if its leaking, where does it look like the fluid is coming from?

any codes in the system read with something other than a code reader? have you checked that the trans is getting command to shift when its acting up? is the range sensor set properly and checked with a scan tool for proper operation? have you made sure the epc solenoid and shift solenoids are good? whats the condition of the internal harness? and lastly, what was problem with the trans before rebuild?

i take it you mean the tran-x 2000.
you didnt mention if the were any trouble codes stored.
i do have a curiosity question though, you say pump bearing and on this trans, it uses a bushing in the converter, not the pump. so did you replace the converter or is this bearing somewhere else?
was the pump taken out and the the pump shaft and sleeve checked for wear while it was apart?
from what your describing, this is not a valve body issue, if you had the drums apart to replace the clutches, id say there is a possibility that you cut a lip seal on assembly, or it has a cracked piston. which is what it sounds like from what your describing.

axod

there are no codes stored !!also there is a bearing/seal combo in the pump housing itself that is a common failure in axod and ax4n new bearing is wider and seal is seperate on upgrade which gives more surface for pump shaft to ride on!! when this bearing fails wipes out bushing in valve body and puts pump presure to converter seal hence the leak!!all above mentioned are new!! just don't wanna shift !!am gonna stick with sticking valve body for now and clean again !! flush cooler and see what happens !! when it works is perfect!! would not hold wot in all gears with a torn lip seal!! also would have trash in pan from slippage!!

sledsonhigh;

You need to stop bouncing of the profanity filter. This board is a PG rated forum per the admin guy Jon.

Glad you fixed the problem, sometimes the answer really is in going back to basics. However, please use more standardized punctuation and less profanity. Thanks Crosley and TNSmith10
