ford bronco hyd clutch conversion.
I know this is a truck question but I figured someone might have some ideas. I have a 83 full size bronco frame with an 86 full size body and a 72 ford 429. I am putting in a 77 NP 435 tranny with a NP 205 transfer and I was wondering if any fords are running a Hyd clutch that I could retrofit into my bronco. I plan on going to a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch and I want to maintain a light clutch, I dont have any of the linkages as of yet but if I decide I want to go with a linkage system I can get one from the salvage cheap, or a hyd from there too. I have 32" tires currently and 3.50 gears. Daily driver mostly winter weather and off road; mud, snow, minor rock crawling. any ideas? thanks, jared

Im not too much on fords and I cant remember if the 429 is the same bolt pattern as a 460. Ford had hydraulic clutches on 460 4sp trucks.
Interchange on it is: 1 FTF250 84-87 8-460 (7.5L) 2 FTF350 84-87 8-460 (7.5L) 89 and up trucks had integral bell housing 5speeds Maybe this will help
