Ford C4 auto shifting problems

Hi all
I have a recoed C10 in my car and it has a strange shifting problem 1st and second (has a stage three shift kit)
Normal driving it shifts into second in the first few feet, but if I tramp it it holds a bit better, I tried adjusting up the modulator but with very little result, so I changed it and still the same.
When the trans gets hot and I idle along in slow traffic it appears to "crash" between 1st and 2nd continuously and I have to move the shifter back to 1st
Any Ideas ??

Since you are posting mostly to an American audience you should use American terminology for your transmission. Almost no one in the U.S. has a clue what a C10 transmission is, so most will not post even if they know the answer to your problem.

Not sure exactly what you mean ? Or is it that the C10 was an Aussie box?

mid 60's up are
c4
c6
fmx
aod
the c6 was stronger than the c4
the fmx was the redheadedstepchild.
and for whatever reason ford built the aod off the fmx

the image below will give you the american name listing, match up pan shape and then we'll know what you got

Thanks for that ! It appears now after some more research that what I have is what you guys call a pan filled C4 or later C4
Seems that a C10 is an Aussie term that someone invented

I'm sorry if this seems a repeat thread but in Australia we call the pan fill C4 a C10 and I named the topic as that
