Ford dropped axle on a 37 chevy p/u

I am having a hard time locating a dropped axle for my 37 chevy p/u and I was wondering if one from a 35 and up ford could be made to work,we had someone loally who could get me one but I think they are out of buisness now and I do not want to go with a MII due to I dont have a good enough welder or welding skills to tackle that job. As a Moderator, I have watch this thread....with interest and was surprised no one answered it, or at least tried.

The 37 Chevrolet has dual springs on the front ( parallel ) and the Fords have a transverse spring so I doubt that the swap is feasible $$$ wise.

These guys drop axles.........maybe they could be of service to you...
