i got my hands on a 65' ford f100 with a 352 in it. i have never heard of this engine before and want to get some info on it. it is all original i'm the 2nd owner. it only has 78000 mls on her. qeustion is...........is this truck worth owning? outbesides the low miles what about the engine? don't know much about ford so i really have no clue as to restore or sell! just a run across a good deal type of thing that i got it.

I have no personal experience with the 352. It is part of the 'FE' engine family, most known for the 390, 427, and 428. I had two 390's that were both great running engines. If the 352 isn't desirable you could probably drop a stout 390 in her. Here is a link with just some basics on the different Ford engine families. I know there are a couple members on this board who know a ton about the old FE engines. Give it some time and I'm sure you will get some more info.
