Ford fast shift from reverse to low
What goes on inside a Ford transmission that keeps them from going into gear until you're at idle/a complete stop? Is this is some kind safety feature to protect the transmission? Something in the valve body I can just bypass? That's fine for a street car, but I do demo derbies and would like to shift quickly from reverse to low (sometimes I don't have time to come to a complete stop to shift plus the transmission only has to last like 10 minutes lol). I use alot of late 80's cars with aod, but any year Ford I've ever driven has done this...
Thanks in advance for your input!! |
