Question Ford Flathead to Ford automatic c4-kit?

Hi,Does anyone know where I/we could get an adapter kit for making a Ford Flathead V-8 into a Ford automatic C4?? I/We know they're out there (i.e:Bendtsen's). but were looking for a slightly better price.Have a '50 Ford and Jim (husband) will be restoring for it for me (Mrs.BigJim).I don't think I'll be able to handle driving it because its a manual...so he thought he'd change the transmission/get an adapter. We just want to try and keep the cost of the restoration down.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Mrs.BigJim

Welcome Mrs. Being new to the site, you need to be sure to read the "Read Me' posts at the beginning of each forum. The ones here for example recommend that you just post a general introduction here and post tech questions in the appropriate tech forum. This will give you the best chance for a good answer.

See this. Don't know if it is a better price than you have seen but I have always been very pleased with Speedway stuff.
