in 66 ford had disc on your car, they may be hrad to find now but they mite be out there..

You will need to change the spindles at the least. The GRANADA swap is popular here and
www.fatmanfab.com has reworked spindles cheap or
http://www.critesrestoration.com/galaxie.htm has the complete kit or a list of needed donor parts.
I would also try 72/ TORINO spindles as they have heavier brakes. Just beware of any (if any) differences in the ball joint/tie rod end tapers. They can be machined.
