Never have seen one like this before, it's listed on Phoenix craigslist (not mine) just wondering if anyone has ever seen this on a running SBF? A Cross-Ram for Weber Carbs.
Yes it was made for Webbers or dual Quads I ran 1 in the 60s on a 409 425 HP!! It had fantastic mid range and was pretty good on the street! Switched to a Micky Tompson dual quad a few years later and it had better lower range power curve but was not as good in the street I think the webbers made it a better street manifold !
I tried to find pics and CANT!!!THAT INTAKE IN THE PIC IS DIFFERENT ITS WELDED! TO ACOMIDATE THE WEBBERS , i ALSO RAN A FORD CROSS RAM INTAKE WITH 2 (HIT CAPS LOCK sorry) inline 4 Motocrafts On a side oiler.

Check out this factory WEDGE cross ram (People thought it was a myth)
That's because it's one-of-none. Obviously that's a fabricated manifold where someone has welded plates onto the E-brock cross-ram to mount the Webers.
I ran webbers on a cross ram years ago they still make the adapters today and cross rams back in the day were made for just about any carb. and many people modified rams in many ways !! That one JeffB posted is pretty cool and its probably the only one out there (pretty rare ) Edelbrock even made different adapters but instead of using adapters they welded on carb mounts!
Pretty nifty manifold. Originally made for dual Holley's it's been modified for Weber's. Edelbrock made this manifold in the sixties. I'd bet some Cobra guy was in on this mod.
They used those manifolds on Mopars before about anything else. They used to ice down that ram in between races to get extra dense air into the cylinders off the line. Probably gave em an extra 25-40 HP for a minute or two until things got warmed up.
I also saw one or two Pontiacs with that manifold with two big AFBs on it.
