Ford headlight buckets

Does anyone happen to know if early 50s ford headlight buckets will work on a 41 ford? I have 53 merc headlight rings or frenching but I cannot locate any 41-48 ford buckets. I can get 51 ford buckets for a decent price. However they are out of state and I don't have the luxury of a trial fit before I buy. Anyone know of a solution?

tex smith books

tex smith has some books on customizing. I took a street rod class at UVSC last semester and got the senior citizen discount cost went from $ 1100 to $ 105 sometimes it pays to be an old fart. The instructor's (Chris Borgess)cars were featured in a lot of Tex's books . He does a lot of parts swapping and some stuff just bolts in and other times you have to trim or drill holes... good luck
