HEI wires will work on a Ford HEI, same terminals. if you have a Duraspark distributor stock ( upgrading from, to the HEI ) your stock wires may work, Duraspark has exposed terminals, but I'm not shure about there diamater, they may be smaller around.

I conclude that you are using the GM HEI type in your Ford.... I always recommend helical (spiral) core wires because most souped up ignitions will not "stay-in" carbon core wires.
A stock GM HEI with a DUI Performance coil will blow right out of NEW Accel yellow carbon core wires. It won't run at all above 1200 rpm. Saw it happen. FYI Factory 5.0 carbon wires can't stand an MSD box either. If your distributor manufacturer has wires with their trade name on them, I would recommend those. Ford Guy X |
