Ford horn ring

I am asking for a friend if a 42 Ford car horn ring is the same as a 46-48 Ford horn ring?

1941 through 1948 steering wheels are the same. These cars had spring loaded horn buttons in the center of the steering wheel, not horn rings. There are different types of buttons. You can find them HERE Click on the early V-8 1932 - 1948 catalog and search for horn button.
