Remove the window crank handle, the arm rest, and the inner door handle. Then remove all of the screws holding the steel door panel to the door.
From the backside of the steel door panel use a pair of needle-nose pliers to release the clips holding the woodgrain door panel to the steel door panel.
If you pry on the panel from the outside you will tear out the cardboard backing of the panel where the clips are.
