ford project

I 've been looking at my 47 ford 4door project and come up with a thought. Call me crazy but heres my idea. section the car into a shorty using the back door with hinges and front part of front door. Remove front hinges from that section and move latch to front edge to make a suicide door. I know it would be a little work but Ive got 30 plus years of bodywork behind me so it's nothing i can't handle. What do you guy's think of this for a street rod.

I think that is pretty neat myself..can't speak for anyone else..I have seen some cars done like that and they looked good when a good job was done of it..

Do a drawing to make sure you're going to like how the finished product looks. It's your car, so do what you want. I really don't think you're going to hurt the value any being it's a 4 door. Some of the shoebox Chevys look cool when this is done.

Oh, I see you already did the picture thing. Looks kinda strange IMO

1948 Ford shortened

You can save a lot of time by selling the Ford and buying a Volvo.
