Not the slightest,I can ask next time im there if they know,i thought,damn,its totalled. Nope,the axle slid on the leaf spring leaving the chassis ok. Other side looks ok too.

mayby the lunch bell rang and sombody didnt tighten up the bolts on the assembly line? drove fine till it hit that big chuckwhole.

I heard tell of a new tractor that the tranny locked up on. they found a pair of coveralls in the case. and there was this cat that the hydralics would quit working on, they would shut it off and start it again and thy would work for a while they found a beer can in the resovor.

Same thing happened to my first boss's chevy 1-ton dump. Went over a set of railroad tracks and the bolts broke that hold the axle to the leaf springs. Axle went damn near parallel with the frame. Tried to sue GM for the repair bill but with no luck.
