Does anybody know where to find Ford specs for a 1983 Ford V-6 232(mustang)? I've been looking everywhere, but there just isnt a real good place out there that lists specs for mild ford engines. Yet another reason I like GM, you can always find the specs, but I'm supposed to be rebuilding this POS soon and I need to know things like BoreXStroke, cam specs, compression ratio(cant find this info ANYWHERE!), valves sizes, bearing sizes, torque specs(I'll buy a haynes), etc.
That's cause everybody runs the same thing, either a mouse or a rat. Not a whole lot to be confused about.
And sorry, I can't help ya with your lil V6. Look for info on the 3.8L, its the same engine thats in the older and newer Stangs, Windstars, Tauruses, etc...
There are plenty of V6 build books available and they list the specs. The borexstroke is 3.8x3.4. Cam specs are; duration...I-249,E-263;lift I-.415,E-.417
Go to your local O'Riellys and get a Haynes shop manual for your car. The are covered .
