Ford Starter Relay Ground

I might have to mount my Ford starter relay to my fiberglass firewall. So, I'm going to have to run a ground wire from the starter relay housing to the steel frame. How much current will this ground wire need to handle and what gauge wire should I use? Thanks...

A #12 AWG ground wire is more than sufficient. That is exactly what I did to my 34. You might consider a ground terminal strip in the trunk area if that is where your starter relay is mounted. It's a good idea even if you don't, makes it easy to hook up grounds for lights, fuel sender, and fuel pump.
