Ford T-5 into 289 Flywheel Clutch pressure plate problems

I'm working on a 66 mustang for my friend and he wants to stick a t-5 in it in exchange for his C4. Now he brought all the parts to me so that I can do it but I've run into a small problem. His Flywheel threaded bolt holes dont match the holes on the pressure plate he bought.

He has an 289, so he said he bought a 289 28oz Flywheel, my guess is that he bought a Late 50oz pressure plate. Is there any way to tell visually? Do I have to remove them and weight it again? I have a early 302 flywheel and pressure plate and they're bigger than the flywheel and pressure plate he bought.

Also do I have to change the harmonic balancer too since the flywheel in much heavier than the flexplate?
Thanks

Mustang Mags

The Early Mustang T 5 swap has been coverd several times in the Mustang magazines and you will find More info on the Various Mustang falcoln fairlane forums. how to set up the clutch, cable or push rod, hyd. etc. mounts etc. Mosty Chevy experts here. I just replaced the Clutch In my Fox chassis 84 Capri, I went to the 10 1/2 clutch, had to find a 87 and newer flywheel, And the pressure plate bolts were different, I ALWAYS save all the bolts-nuts when I pull parts in a bone yard. some pressure plates use a Y pattern on bolt layout, others are evenly spread around the circle. and you can have a 3 finger p plate or a multi finger spring plate.

oh okay, I took the flywheel back off and checked it out and it turns out to be a 28oz flywheel after all, but it's a smaller diameter for the newer T-5 Bellhousing. The clutch pressure plate only matches up in three places, but I think three bolts isnt enough for a pressure plate.
