Ford Zephyr Mk 1 small block

Hi, I'm thinking of restoring my old man's Zephyr but would like to fit a v8 instead of the little 6, does anyone know what size diff these would have and if it would handle a small block?, also would the chassis and rear suspension handle the upgrade?

Which Zephyr......Are you talking about the Fox bodied ones (78-8?).....?

If you are, all the 79- Mustang stuff is a bolt in

I see you are in Austrailia, so this may not apply
