Found a great book

I picked up a book on small block building by John Lingenfelter. It's been very eye opening. Anyone out there read it?

Yes, I have that book. Have had it for years along with many other engine building/modifying books. It is a great book, lots of good info.

I'm in the planning stages for replacing my 235 in the 59 Suburban. The book is helping me learn what I need. Now if I could run across a wrecked caprice or Chevy truck with the right engine/tranny for sale......

i have it along with a small automotive library.i can still barely believe that he's dead.people like him and smokey yunick are rare inovative genius.they see the end result before they know where the beginning is and then keep at it til they invent or develope things that put big smiles on our faces.
