Found an interesting thing while surfing Google Images.

So, just messing around on Google images and I put in "Buick Nailhead". Very cool way to search for things, there was a ton of speed equipment and what not. Sooooo, I decide to call my brother and tell him about this in case he doesn't know (about the Google images) and as I am looking and telling him some things I am seeing I come across a photo of HIS car (1922 Buick Roadster) with someone elses name. LOL No kidding, so I go to that site (click here) and there it is with some guy named Joe saying it is his brother Dan's car calling it a Model A. LOL I almost fell off my chair laughing.

I emailed the site and just told them what was going on. I don't care (my brother was a little peeved) I mean, who gives a crap it isn't hurting a darn thing. But it sure is funny.

Of course when I find my "Basics of Basics" articles on the net with others taking credit that pssssssss me off. But that is different.

Brian

could have emailed him annomously and corrected him and told him it was a 1927 Model T roadster and not a model A, and showed him a pic of another '27 and see if he picked up on it.

yep to screw with him. it deffinetly does not look like a model A, looks very close to a 1927 Model T body tho, show him a pic of a '27 T roadster and see if he notices the diffrence and catches on. I know it's a buick and if I didn't know that it was a buick I would not be able to tell it apart from a T ither without looking at a T also. the early buicks have stumped me b4, they can stump me again. I can tell the body lines of the Dodge brothers apart from the T's, but I'v looked at a few early buicks at car shows, and at first thinking they were T's, until I looked at the registration card.

I like that idea. If the guy wants to claim it was his car and have the wrong info, why not screw with him and have a little fun?

re: Found an interesting thing while surfing Google Images.

I don't know brian, maybe it is really you that posted that picture. When you were in one of your other personalities.
Just Kidding.

I looked around on the site(s) some by getting rid of parts of the URLs and what a messed up bunch of freaks I found. The place reminded me of that clown "mean mother at meanmotherdot com" and his screwed up website. .Here is the 365 page website devoted to his 31 chevy.http://www.ammoman.com/CHEVY/
It could be a nice car but not as long as that guy has it.

Oh but you cant see all of the pages unless you buy his CD Forget that....

there is a funpage here that looks like a tweakers nightmare.
Potato cannons, shooting videos ,osama bin ladin target practice, alien abduction, bermuda triangle, his own version of beachboys songs, child guidance, recipies, motorcycle design, 1511 different webpage icons, yes there is something there for everyone. No porn though, maybe they are a little behind the times in their marketing.

But wait! Not only is those guys CRAZY but they sell guns and ammo too. There was even a link to the branch davidians in waco. They were probably customers before the sheet went down and the feds were parking tanks in their living room.

Now I couldn't find the page you originally found from that website, but I'm sure it is in there somehere. there was so much clutter and links hidden in every corner that I'm sure it is buried under 15 miles of crap.

The guy says he is in VT somewhere. ..Maybe Matt167 could take a little ride and do some recon.

I don't know Brian, I think I'd let him play with the picture. It would be best to not provoke him .I think.

Maybe someone should email him and get him to join HR.com.

later, mikey

I have guns and ammo too, we can play! Near as I can figure out the cars are not the guy with the site but "visitors" or members. I didn't make a big deal out of it. Like I say, I could care less really. I just told him with plenty of "smilies" that it is no big deal and if it matters to him to remove it.

re: Found an interesting thing while surfing Google Images.

This reminds me of a 28 model A tudor that I had traded off ,,
I was at a large rod run, on the coast a few years back,, and spotted the tudor that I had built a few years earlier and traded off for a 39 chev coupe,, it had not been changed any , so I wandered over to talk to the guy,, thinking it still belonged to the guy I traded it to,, but another person had bought it , he was talking to someone else as I walked up,, so I just stood off from them , waiting untill he was through talking to the other person,, evesdropping on their conversion, I heard this guy telling how he had built the car, and what problems he had run into, etc, etc,, so giggling to myself,, I decided this was a good time to have some fun,, when he finished B.S'n the first sucker,, I just stood there like I was admireing his car,, he imediately started talking about how he built the car, all about it,, and i just let him bury himself,, really choking back laughing,, he had SERIOUSLY convinced himself that he had built this car, but really didn't have a clue how to build a rod,, I let him raddle on for probably 10 minutes, finally the conversion came to the paint,, which was White,, he said he had some places that needed touching up but couldn't remember what the paint code was,, and if I had any idea how hard it was to match the collor white,, so i'm thinking,, this is the perfect time to call him on his Lie,, I told him that the paint was a white mixing base, and that I had about a quart of it left over from when I painted the car and that I would give it to him if he would admit how big a lier he was to the people gathered around the car,, the look on his face was priceless,, he just stood there for a minute ,,then turned and walked away, from everybody that was standing there,, he could crawled under a rug and not left a wrinkle,, he was that embaressed,, its more fun tio expose them in public than privately, give him the works Brian,, he obviously is a jerk wanna be,, sorry this is so long,, but I thought it was funny,,,, Bill
