Four Link System

Just wondering how is the best way to set up a four link system for the street. Right now the shocks are in the middle hole on the bottom bracket and the shocks are adjusted mid way. With this setting I have about a inch of clearance between the rear end housing and the floor board of the car. I am not sure what moving the shock to the top hole will do if anything other than giving me another inch of clearance. Even with than I will only have two inchs of movement without problems. This does not even start to work on the bar placement of the upper and lower bars.

In a traditional 4-link you don't have a lot of latitude for mounting, two upper two lower bars. The choices you do have are lateral support, i.e. track locater setup and roll control.

You need more clearance, either raise the car or cut the floor and raise it.

Do a search here for 4 link suspension, that alone will yield 8 pages of posts.
